Q: Does the PC have to remain switched on while the camera is in operation?
A: No, the camera works completely independently. You do not need a PC (just for setup). The camera itself can detect movements, record videos, send pictures by email, transfer the recordings to an FTP server and much more. You can also easily access the camera on the go with the free App InstarVision without having to run a PC. Only if you want to use our Windows software InstarVision v2, you need a PC.
